Hi Everyone!
Sorry for the mess. A few months ago I moved our boards over to a php-based system. I thought the advanced features and what-not would make for a more pleasant message board experience for our members.
Unfortunately, we were spammed to death by porn and viagra sites. Here at Proboards, we've never had that kind of problem. So, after realizing that I could never keep up with the spam on the php-based boards, I have decided to move our boards back here.
It will take some time to get everything back online, so please be patient. In the meantime, post a message! Let us know you are here!

Congrats on getting the board up and running. Nice to know there are a few Scuba nuts floating around these parts. My wife and I moved here recently from the Philippines, and have yet to dive here in Korea. For now though, we'll wait until the temps get just a bit warmer! Cheers all!

HI, I am in Korea for the next 3 months with the Cirque du Soleil show. I am based in Seoul and would like to do some diving while I am here. What dives are accessible from Seoul? Cheers

Cheers Neil Out of Seoul your best bet is the Deep Blue Quest Dive Club or the Go Deep Divers Dive Club. Contact info for both is on the 'Dive Clubs' page of the main site at www.scubainkorea.com. Hello everyone My name is James and I'm currently working with the EPIK programme in Gunsan, SK. I'm keen to do some diving this Summer and experiment with a new DV camera--after years of using Nikonos systems--it'll be great to edit the pics in PhotoShop. (I am an open water diver [ACUC], having trained with military personel in Canada.) I've done a lot of diving in Cuba...and plan to do some dives in Spain this August, too. I'd be happy to join a local group, and share in some underwater adventures. I have my equipment with me, but will need to rent a [L or XL] BC unit...and buy a new mask & snorkel. I'll be at our Cuban beach house (in the Summer of 2008)--so next year--if anyone wants to do some amazing first class cave runs at Calatoni--I'd be happy to introduce you to some of the best cave diving in the world. And, salsa the night away! I'm also checking out the dive links here in Gunsan; both Monyo-do and Sonyo-do have dive facilities...plan to report on that unique eco-zone as well. Best to one and all - safe diving! - James Cell: 010-8371-7899 Ottawa, Canada - Gunsan, RoK - Holguin, Cuba

Hi everyone,
My name is Kerry, I've lived in Korea for 3 years, currently working in Thailand but returning to the ROK early May. I'm a PADI OWSI with 5 specialty Instructor ratings (Deep, Nav, Naturalist, Nitrox, Wreck) and EFRI. I'm very keen to get some diving in when I return, so I'll hopefully meet some of you then.
Kerry
