Marine life = This is a great dive site. There are several places in the surrounding area that are a short 5min zodiac ride from the shore.
The vis was 10m+ and navigation is quite easy due to the layout. You'll be either diving on a submerged hill or an artificial reef so you just start at the bottom and spiral your way the top. The thing that strikes me about diving on the NE coast is the abundance of colour. The sites are covered in tall kelp and seaweed growth. There are lots of small purple and red anenomes and seafans. They are small but beautiful. There are some schooling fish and eels and various species of nudibranches. Beware of potential hazards. I did see a large fishing net discarded on one of the sites and if you followed the current it'd take you right into it. The shop is aware of it so hopefully they'll have it cleaned up before long.
